“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?”
1 Corinthians 3:16
Empires and Ages rise and fall, constant ebb and flow, yet a persistent yearning is ever present; a yearning for Truth, to be One with Godhead, to be gathered up back home again.
The Cunning Apostle’s blog is merely a continuation of this yearning, walking a path trodden by those labeled as Saints, Sages, Mystics, all begin as the Holy Fool. So may we strive to be lovers of Wisdom, may the Light of Truth guide us.
Let us not be fascinated by the illusion of the Lie; let us hearken instead to the all-pervading Word and heed the Craftsman’s warning when aspiring to be free from perceived entrapment. Start by looking within; as another Craftsman had said “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”, repeating what the wise have held in ages past: “Man, Know thyself and thou will know the universe and the Gods”. Yet be cautious, as like Icarus, we may fall, being scorched due to heady curiosity and craving, racing compulsively further once we finally feel the Winds envelop us as we soar towards Light.
Hold that throughout this journey hubris shall scorch wings, instead take up the humble robe and staff of the pilgrim, these companions shall patiently guide you. A lofty destination the journey may provide, but know that it is only through a repeated sequence of single steps that we may arrive there. Keep Faith that although we may miss the mark, we must strive to carry on, as it is even through the smallest crack within darkness that Light can pour forth.
In Lux Veritas,
The Cunning Apostle
